Educational and scientific activities of the department

Credit technology of training involves not only the assessment of the complexity of the educational program in loans, but also the use of a competence-based approach and a modular structure of the educational program. The interdependence of the competence approach and the modular principle of learning is due to the fact that the module is focused on achieving a certain planned learning outcome, that is, competence.

The modular principle of building educational programs, along with the credit system of training, plays an important role in individualizing the educational trajectory of the student, ensuring international academic mobility within the framework of integration processes taking place in the world.

Modernization of the process of teaching disciplines takes place at the expense of modern educational technologies, comprehensive methodological support of all its components. The educational process of the OP is fully provided with all the necessary information sources: textbooks, teaching aids, methodological manuals and developments in academic disciplines, active handouts and instructions for independent work, access to online educational resources. There are electronic textbooks, video lectures, lecture presentations, etc. For lectures there are interactive whiteboards and interactive panels, multimedia projectors, cadoscopes with special screens and an album with slides, computer classes are connected to the Internet and Wi-Fi network, there are multipliers and copiers. The equipment of the educational process with multimedia classrooms and specialized laboratories is carried out constantly in accordance with the requirements of standards.

Work on the introduction of new technologies at the departments is carried out in the following areas:

– advanced training of teachers (ARU named after K.Zhubanov, seminars, internships);

– conducting open classes, the planning of which requires the teacher to show new pedagogical technologies;

– mutual attendance of classes in order to get acquainted with new learning technologies;

– organization and holding of educational and methodological seminars at the department, faculty and university;

– creation of a bank of innovations, methods, pedagogical technologies;

– development of teaching aids and recommendations on the use of innovations in practice;

Innovative, creative, interactive teaching methods are actively used in the educational process.

Scientific research at the university is characterized by a wide range of areas and includes fundamental, applied and experimental design work.

The research work of university teachers is divided into the following types: search and initiative, carried out in accordance with the thematic plan of the university and included in the individual plans of teaching staff; funded from the republican and local budgets, as well as on the basis of agreements with enterprises and organizations; carried out under international agreements and funded by international organizations.

Currently, research work at the department is carried out according to the approved research plan.

The introduction of innovations and the results of research activities of the teaching staff is used in the process of teaching academic disciplines within the framework of author’s courses, elective disciplines: “Obtaining arbolite based on industrial waste and the tasting beer of Aktyubinsk region ” and Dr. “The senior educator B. B. Kulsharov took part in the publication of scientific projects “”the acquisition of Arbolita on the basis of the industry and the corrosive cheese of the Aktobe region””.” K. T. N., associate professor of the Department of Saukhanov N. S. says the theme of the “study of transport pots” together with KGU “Center for ensuring security of road traffic and digital technologies of Aktobe city” Gu “dealt with housing and communal services, passenger transport and automobile roads Aktobe city PPS takes part, plans to participate in the implementation of scientific projects on the problems of construction and construction materials

The department is represented by special teachers and teaching methods, recommended for leadership and use in higher educational institutions of the Republic.
