From 1 to November 3, 2016 our capital Astana hosted the annual Caspian technical conference and exhibition of SPE (CTCE), the theme of which this year was “Perspectives and Change.”;

In November 2016 Ufa hosted the international scientific-technical conference dedicated to the memory of academician A.Kh. Mirzajanzade. The honor of our University was defended by the students Nurdaulet Bahitzhan and Telecinema Aigerim, who took an honorable 2nd place;

25-26 November 2016 the international scientific-practical conference on the theme: “Innovative technologies in the production and technical training” was organized in our University. Students of our Department won prizes in this conference: Nurdauletov Bakytzhan – the 1st place, Tulesinova Aigerim – the 2nd place, Mergalieva Fariza and Besbaeva Asel – the 3rd place;

The 4th of February, in the American corner in Aktobe there was a regional stage of competition “Kazakhstan Spelling Bee 2017”, organized by the American Embassy in Kazakhstan. Students of Universities and Colleges of Kazakhstan were accepted to participate in competition. The essence of the contest was to spell English words; this type of competition is very popular in the United States. During the competition the participant from ARSU SPE SC Alisher Sahibeddin took the honorary first place and a trip to Astana to the Republican stage of the competition where he will compete for the title of “Best speller of the English” in Kazakhstan;

In 2017 year, the 4th student of technical faculty 5B071300 “transport, Transport technics and technologies” Zhanabaev А. won the nomination “student of the year 2017»;

On October, 25-26, 2017, the VIII international scientific-technical Congress “Oil and gas Horizons”, was held in Russian state University of oil and gas named after I. M. Gubkin (Moscow), it was attended by over 120 students from around the world, including representatives of such countries as Canada, Germany, Poland and Australia. The 3rd year student Burkina Regina and graduate Temirbek Sagingaliyev participated in this event on behalf of our University. Regina was a finalist, and Temirbek won the 1st prize in section “Health, Safety and Environment”;

At the II stage of the Republican subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions in the specialty “Metallurgy” on April 21-22, 2022 at the Toraighyrov University of Pavlodar, the team of Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov took the 2nd prize. For this Olympiad under the guidance of a teacher of the Department of Metallurgy and Mining of the Technical faculty of Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov Burumbayev Azamat was visited by a team of 2nd-year students of OP “Metallurgy” Alpysbayev Nursultan, 3rd-year students Orynbasar Zhetpisbayuly, Kairzhanov Dias According to the results of the Republican subject Olympiad, the diploma of the 3rd degree was awarded to Kairzhanov Dias Altynbekovich.

On April 14-15, 2022, the II stage of the republican subject Olympiad in the disciplines “Fundamentals of mining production”, “Ecology of mining production” of the OP “Mining” was held at the Rudnensky Industrial University. Under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Department “Metallurgy and Mining” of the Technical Faculty of Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov Sultanov Muratbek Gabitovich, a team of 3rd year students of the OP “Mining” Kystaubai Dias Maratuly, Orynbayuly Bakytzhan, 2nd year student Bisenov Nursen visited. According to the results of the republican subject Olympiad, Kystaubai Dias was awarded a diploma of the 2nd degree, and Bisenov Nursen Bakytovich was awarded a diploma of the 3rd degree. According to the team result, he took the second prize.

The Chairman of the Board, Rector Karabasova Laura, took part in the revival of the university staff and expressed her gratitude to everyone who works. He thanked for the hard work, hard work, professional creativity and on his own behalf awarded letters of thanks to a number of women. One of the letters of thanks was presented to Akhmetova Meiramgul, senior lecturer of the Department of Metallurgy and Mining of the Technical Faculty, who has 21 years of work experience.

On 27.04.2022, the ARU named after K. Zhubanov summed up the “Month of Science”, which began in early April. Dauren Esengaliev, senior lecturer of the PhD Department of Metallurgy and Mining, was awarded the nomination “Best Young Scientist” for organized research works.

In our university, on the eve of Teacher’s Day, it is customary to honor teachers and reward educators for their contribution to the development of education. This year, the best teaching staff was also awarded, skillfully applying knowledge and qualifications in daily activities in the formation of specialists in accordance with modern requirements. From the Department of Metallurgy and Mining, Sultanov Muratbek was awarded a letter of thanks from the rector.
